Lukla

Lukla, the gateway to Mt. Everest, lies at 2743 m (9,000 ft). Our lodge is most conveniently located directly opposite the airport. Spacious rooms, a lovely sunny garden and traditional interiors make for a very warm welcome to guests arriving in the Khumbu. Excursion to the nearby village of Bom, just below at 9600 ft / 3000m, with a view looking down towards Lukla and the very interesting airport is an option for guests spending their first night in Lukla.

Monjo

Located at an altitude of 2,850 meters in the quaintly picturesque valley of Monjo, our lodge is a comfortable five hour walk from the domestic airport of Lukla, the air gateway to the Everest country. The lodge overlooks the village and the narrow Dudh Koshi valley. Thamserku Himal (6608m) rising high up behind the lodge serves as a dreamlike backdrop. Excursion to Thachok hill (3000m) and an extra night at Monjo is usually planned for the purpose of acclimatizing at the beginning stage of the trek.

Mende

Perched almost 3000 meters above the Thamo and Thame valleys, the lodge has the most awesome views of the surrounding mountains like Kongde Ri, Thamserku, Kang Taiga, Kusum Kangru and Khumbila. With a monastery and a few monks as year-round neighbours, Mende has an amazing sense of tranquility and peace. Located just off the main trail between Namche Bazar and Thame, the frontier to the Tibetan Plateau separated only by the 5741 meter Nangpa La pass. This lodge has the most wonderful location sited as it is amidst pine forests overlooking the Dudh Koshi valley with breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, the Taboche Peak and Khumbila , said to be the spiritual abode of the patron demigod of the Khumbu region. Day excursions to the famous Sherpa monastery of Tengboche and the village of Phortse can be made from the lodge.

Pangboche is located literally at the lap of the Ama Dablam mountain (6865 mts), often described as one of the most beautiful mountain on earth!
