Located at an altitude of 2,850 meters in the quaintly picturesque valley of Monjo, our lodge is a comfortable five hour walk from the domestic airport of Lukla, the air gateway to the Everest country.

The lodge overlooks the village and the narrow Dudh Koshi valley. Thamserku Himal (6608m) rising high up behind the lodge serves as a dreamlike backdrop.

Excursion to Thachok hill (3000m) and an extra night at Monjo is usually planned for the purpose of acclimatizing at the beginning stage of the trek.
