Day 1 : Arrival at KATHMANDU, transfer to HAATIBAN (1852 mts)
You are met at the airport and then transferred to Haatiban Resort, an hours drive through the lovely countryside. Located south-west and around 400 meters above the valley, the views from here and the peaceful environment is most welcoming after a long flight. Overnight- Haatiban Resort.
Day 2 : Day hike to CHAMPADEVI (2278 mts/ 3/4 hrs)
An early morning hike up the Champa Devi hill is recommended as a good preparation for your onward trek. Once at the top, the views of the mountains stretching from Manaslu in the west all the way towards the eastern Himalaya is a treat. Back at the hotel you can either take the afternoon off or do some sightseeing of the local villages and small towns of Pharping and Dakshinkali . Overnight - Haatiban Resort.
Day 3 – Walk to GODAVARI (1450m 5-6hrs)
Drive from Haatiban to Bansbari (1510m), then walk through Khokana(1360m), a typical Newari village famous for its mustard oil. Visit the 17th century Rudrayani Temple.Further along visit the world famous wood carving village of Bungamati (1405), a traditional village that dates to the 16th century. Bungamati is the birthplace of Rato Machhendranath. He is regarded as the patron guardian of the valley. There is a shikhara-style temple in the middle of the village square. He spends six months a year in this temple and the other six months in the Rato Machhendranath Temple in Patan. Overnight- Godavari Resort.
Day 4 - Walk to Lakhuri ( 1900m 5 – 6 hrs)
The trail moves towards Lakhuri (1900m) through emerald rice field, passing by villages that still have not yet been touched by modernization. From Lamatar ascend up to Risal Hill. Located at an altitude of 1900 m, this vantage point commands the panoramic views of the snowy mountain peaks. Overnight- Summit Village Lodge.
Day 5 – Excursion around Lakhura Bhanjyang ( 5 – 6 hrs)
Lakhuri Bhanjyang lies perched atop the pristine hill of Pokhari Thumko Walk around to the villages to get an insight into the rural life and culture. The view from this location overlooks the wide spectrum of the Himalayan range and the broad expanse of the Kathmandu valley, The northern horizon is an ideal location to watch spectacular views of sunset and sunrise. After Dusk, a myriad of shimmering lights far below in the cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur glow to reveal yet another delightful feast for the eyes. Overnight- Summit Village Lodge
Day 6 : Fly to Pokhara, 900m
Take a scenic 20 minute flight to Pokhara. On arrival drive to the lakeside, group baggage will go on to your hotel. After a coffee break at a lakeside restaurant, we take a short boat ride to the other side of Phewa Lake and begin the walk up to the Peace Pagoda. Walking up through dense tropical forests, enjoy the amazing views of the beautiful valley below and the mountains beyond. The whole climb up to the Pagoda does not take more than 2 hours. From the top of the hill you have a 180 degree panoramic view of Pokhara town. Walk down via a different trail to the pick up point (1 hour) and drive to your hotel. Late light lunch. Day 7 : Fly to Jomsom, Drive to Thasang, 2800 m
Early flight to Jomsom (2800 m). Along the famous Kaligandaki valley, the worlds deepest gorge, situated between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Once in Jomsom you get the feeling that you are transported to almost a different time zone! The drive to Thasangis about 45 minutes which is quickly covered and before long we arrive at the village of Larjung from where we hike about 30 minutes to our hotel located at the village of Bujorkot. In the afternoon visitthe quaint farming village of Bujurkot which still remains quite untouched and original. Explore the area to study the people and their culture and at the same time walk up to a viewing hill point to capture the best possible views of the magnificent surrounding mountains Overnight, Thasang Lodge
Day 8 : Day excursion to Titi and Bhucchorcho
Full day excursion with picnic lunch to Titi and Bhucchorcho Lake. Through rhododendron forests, which are in full bloom from April through May, to the glacial lakes. The views along the way of the Mt. Annapurna 1, Dhaulagiri and the Tucche peak are terrific. Overnight Thasang Lodge
Day 9 : Walk to Jomsom , Drive to Kagbeni (2180 m)
Retrace to Marpha but this time taking the old trekking old trial along to the vibrant Chairo Tibetan refugee camp, one of the oldest refugee camps set up. Visit the monastery before continuing on to Marpha village where a lunch break is planned. From Jomsom drive to Kagbeni. Overnight Annapurna Summit Lodge.
Day 10 : Day Excursion to Muktinath (3800m)
The day offers two options, drive up to Muktinath (3800m) and walk back via an alternative route or walk up to Muktinath and drive back to Kagbeni. Muktinath is one of the most significant pilgrim places on earth for the Hindus. Its unique combination of cold water springs, natural gas fires and sea fossils that are millions of years old is considered sacred. Return to Kagbeni. Overnight, Annapurna Summit Lodge
Day 11 : Excursion to old Bonpa village of Lupra, 2960 mtrs
Visit the old Bonpa village of Lupra (2960 m), one of the oldest settlements of the region. Highlight of the day is a visit to the Lupra monastery which was founded in the 11th century by Lupragpa, a famous Bon master. It is very seldom that tourists or as a matter of fact even locals visit this place. Retrace your step back to Kagbeni Overnight: Annapurna Summit Lodge.
Day 12 : Fly to Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Jomsom, take the flight to Pokhara and then connecting flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to your Hotel
Day 13 : Sightseeing :Patan Durbar Square, Syambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square
